Dr. Ricardo Bullen



Dr. Bullen trained in the area of dermatology at McGill University, Montreal Canada and Boston University. He continued his training in Cutaneous Oncology, Skin Cancer Surgery (Mohs Surgery) and Reconstruction, at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and at the University of Texas at Dallas. He held the position of director of the Department of Cutaneous Oncology and Dermatologic Surgery at George Washington University, Washington D.C.

Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Member of the American Society for Dermatology Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and American College of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.

Microscopic Examination

It consists of taking samples: scales, hairs or fragments of nails and their subsequent visualization in the microscope, that are necessary to confirm the diagnosis.

Blood poles

Red moles or “blood moles” are vascular dilatations that occur in the skin of the adult. They are benign lesions so they do not turn into skin cancer and usually appear on the face, body, back, arms and neck.

One visit per year!

It is necessary to visit a dermatologist once a year as a preventive measure of precancerous lesions and once every six (6) months in case of being recurrent in these lesions.
